You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objections based on inconvenient forum.
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at legal@heirdock.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
Any claim related to your use of the Website must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or it will be permanently barred.

15. California Users
If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which provides: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party."
